Government supplied influenza immunisations for 2016 are now available.
All patients 65 years and over are eligible for a free government supplied immunisation. Those with a chronic medical condition that increases the risk of hospitalisation from influenza infection are also eligible - for example diabetes, severe asthma or other lung diseases.
Patients not in these groups are asked to request a prescription for influenza immunisation.

If you only need to see the doctor/nurse for the flu shot there is no charge.
